Editorial standards

The core monograph, evidence table, and claim manifest are built from a claims ledger: factual statements are matched to primary sources and graded by evidence type. Statements about FDA's position come from FDA records; trial numbers come from published papers. Study findings name their species. No physician or clinician has reviewed this site, and we do not claim medical review. The generated guide archive and interactive tools have not completed the standard required for high-risk medical publication; they are visibly labeled, set noindex, and excluded from sitemaps and AI citation files until individually reviewed and approved.

Allowed sources: FDA (pages, Drugs@FDA, openFDA, GSRS), PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed journals, ClinicalTrials.gov, PubChem, DailyMed, the Federal Register, and WADA's published Prohibited List. Not allowed: peptide vendors, clinic marketing pages, wellness blogs, forums cited as evidence (forum content appears only via the peer-reviewed research that studied it), press releases, and secondary aggregators. One review considered for this pack was excluded because it was funded by a peptide seller; the exclusion is recorded in the pack notes. Where the honest answer is an absence (no efficacy trials, no no-DAC human data, no long-term safety), we cite the search or review that documents the absence and say so plainly.

Each page displays its published and last-updated dates. We re-review this compound's pages when any of the following changes: FDA's compounding safety-risks entry for CJC-1295, its Drugs@FDA status, the WADA Prohibited List, or publication of any new human trial. Scheduled re-checks include re-resolving every citation link. Material changes get a dated note on the affected page.

Verified corrections are made on the page with a dated note; claims that fail re-verification are removed from the ledger and from every surface that rendered them. We treat a citation that does not support its claim as the most serious defect this site can have.

The '27 sources' figure is the length of the numbered references list rendered from the monograph citation manifest (16 peer-reviewed, 10 government, 1 anti-doping authority, a census computed from the same array). The '14 studies / 4 human' figures are the row count and species-column count of the study-results table. The '0 completed efficacy trials' figure is the count of study rows reporting a completed human efficacy outcome; the registry row for the only attempt shows TERMINATED with no results posted. Trial statistics (fold-changes, half-lives, percentages) are quoted from the cited papers or FDA text and were not computed by us. Any internal count shown on this site must be recomputable by script from the page that displays it; if an array changes, the displayed number changes in the same update.
